Erasmus+ discovers the diversity of the White Carpathians

On Thursday, November 27, 2025,  Czech students took part in a tour of the White Carpathians Nature Reserve as part of the Erasmus+ project. Accompanied by Mirek Janík, a long-time conservationist and founder of the Kosenka organization, we learned not only about the diversity of the local nature, but also about caring for it through traditional mowing of flower-filled meadows.

The route was also lined with numerous water features, including the Big and Small Niagara foam cascades. The weather was on our side. The temperature was slightly below zero, highlighting the contrast between the snow-covered meadows and the forests full of fir trees. The panoramic views of the white landscape were just the icing on the cake.
